Dr. Martin Luther King’s Tour

Our MLK, Jr. Heritage tour has been adapted. Tour is conducted by local historian Ms. Stephanie, who has lived and worked in Atlanta for thirty plus years, and worked for Three Mayors of Atlanta. An overview of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. from his formative years as a youth growing up on Auburn Ave, once called the riches Negro streets in the world and Dr. Kings impact as a leader in the Civil Rights Movement. As of March 28th the Dr Martin Luther King’s Center was opened again. We are conducting a walking tour of the area and its legendary history. Tour begins at the Visitor Center, Short walk to Auburn Ave and hear of it’s, illustrious history and fame, Continue on Auburn to the neighborhood of King’s boyhood home, Also on Auburn is the beautiful Reflecting Pool and the tombs of Dr. and Mrs. King, Jr. End at Ebenezer Baptist Church where Dr. King, Jr, senior and grandfather pastored.
